yeah sam has the right idea because bass know when the cold weather is coming before we do they are very smart they love warm water so thats why in the summer most all bass in city lake parks are no further than 1ft from where your standing ..so when winter comes along their metabolism slows down and they are forced to eat small baits so throw small plastics such as small dropshot worms and work them extra slow..you can find them in 10+ feet because when winter hits thats where the warm water goes

P.s have patients when fishing bass in the winter it will pay off.

hula grubs on 1/2oz weedless jighead. slow and slower. fifteen feet of water minimum. twenty five to thirty five can be really good. deeper if you mark fish on bait. spoon em if you see em.
