Been surfing all day at cotton's and saw a great site this afternoon. Dolphins were having a great time coming up real close and scaring some surfers not seeing them then the exhaling!
The water was clear with good visibility and bait fish were scattering on the surface around 5' from me.
All of a sudden, I see this brown doormat come up from the bottom and snag a baitie!
Good size butt, definitely a legal, maybe 30-35" and nice and round. Just a great site to see so close up. Kinda shook a little bit and went back down. Cool watching him get a little mid afternoon snack.
