Was able to get on the Pacific Dawn Charter, out of Oxnard, Captain Hooks, because of a last minute cancellation. Left Friday night at 10pm and fished all day Saturday. No WSB, but plenty of quality Rockcod. Lots of Red Snapper and a few Lings. The boat was really nice and comfortable. The seas were flat and their was very little wind. The captain put us on great spots off Santa Rosa. Some of the best rock fishing I've seen in a long time. The cook and the Deckhands were top notch. Here are some pics.

Hi RL-IN-OC,

Nice job on the fishys. Looked like a nice clean boat. Was the fishing one of those 300~400 foot reeling contests ??

Thanks for the report,

Hey J, luckily we were in the 200-250 foot depth, still an arm burner though. I heard they completely restored the boat around 2 years ago. Look almost new. Neat thing is, the bunks down below run across instead of front to back. Very comfy.
