Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who answered questions about my recent bishop trip. We left early friday morning and had a possible job interview at noon. Got to PVR dam where I got a few stockers. Then went to the powerplant and got a couple of browns on a CD 1 rainbow right at the plant. Went further into pvr, but was very windy and only got a couple of pan bo's.

Next day drove up the hill to Sabrina. Very cold, windy, with horizontal rain. This was the only spot I got the skunk. Hit Bishop creek on the way to Intake II and got 2 more small browns. Pretty wide open with NC at the dam at Intake. Next went to South Lake (past the portable Road Closed sign) but didn't get out of the car because of the storm, major whitecaps. Hit the south fork on the way down for a couple more bo's. Finished the day back at pvr dam for wo stockers with NC.

Last day we drove around town some looking at real estate. Stopped at the creek on Whitney Portal and got a few more small fighters.

Overall my first trip to Bishop was great, even with less than stellar weather. It was "epic" to see the storms coming in over the Sierra and God putting "powdered sugar" all over. I still have yet to get a trout over 16-18 inches..... Next time!!

3 days and I'm headed up. Heard there's about 6 inches of snow on the ground from Mammoth north. THanks for the report
