Post up what you use... I have been trying out some different things.. and so far I'm impressed with what I've made. However I've found that the meat plays a bigger role in how it ultimately taste. What marinades are you using on this? Homemade? Store bought?

Tecate Beer
Onion Slices
Orange Slices
Lime Juice
Garlic Salt

Let sit in marinade for at least an hour or two...... Thicker Asada longer

Whatever you put in it you have to add LOTS of Tampico juice, the sunny Delight color one. That adds a very nice taste to it. I drive 25 miles to this Hispanic meat market just because that's how they do it. Everytime I buy it for camping or bbq, people always compliment.

Tarasco meat market in Upland has the best carne asada ever.

-Tampico Juice is a must
-Cilantro
-Onions, not the red ones
-Lemons
-Beer
-Salt and Pepper
-Beer, Modelo preffered

I always end up buying it though. I can never make it taste like the market. Also, the thicker the meat the better.

Live a couple blocks from that spot.... pretty good flavor but the Asada is not the best quality, Also you got to watch them they tend to mix Asada with Chuck Steak. Try Guadalara Meat Market down the street on San Antonio the BEST IN NORWALK!

This looks like the best recipe to me so far. Lots of fresh ingredients.

If I could ever figure out how to make Carne Asada like Plow Boys then I'd never buy it again.
