Hi Everyone,
I am going to be a beginner float tuber and would like any tips on my first time out. I will be getting the Fish Cat 4, waders, fins, etc. I have never been tubing or even tried it before, so I'm looking for any advice from you experienced anglers, not on where to fish at the lakes, but etiquette, safety, equipment and any other things you think I should know. I'm most likely just going to be going to the Lagoon, Piru, and Pyramid areas. I appreciate any advice you would like to share.

its definately worth it to invest either in float tube rod olders, or make your own outta pvc pipe. it can be a hassle tryin to switch up baits on the tube especially in a good bite, its much better just to beable to grab another rod. other than that, just make sure you are visible to boaters. The Fish Cat 4 is a great tube, thats what i fish from and it works really well, especially with rod holders on the side
