Hi all,

Heading to the June Loop 11/9-11/16 and am wondering if anyone has a good 'net source to monitor the weather forecast in the Bishop, Mammoth, June Lakes area??

http://www.noaa.gov/

There is no better website for weather .. Period. This is where all other websites, and news stations get their weather from. Type in your zip or the place you want to know about by city and you're set. 2nd best would be www.weather.com or www.accuweather.com both have the 15 day outlook which is usually wrong anyway... and FYI it's supposed to snow in June Lake area over the next 5-6 days. Bring tons of warm clothes, it will be in the teens in the mornings

I totally agree!!!

That is the best =) Especially if you want accurate info on the fast changing mountain weather :D

:D

My friend who is a meteorologist/geologist for the Ventura County water district also uses this ;D

yeah, definitely understood. I watch the weather like crazy before going to the sierras.. it gets nutty out there sometimes with the ice and snow

Another great place for June Lake weather is on the Lee Vining website - http://www.leevining.com. Click the "Current Conditions" hot spot (http://www.monolake.org/visiting/roadinfo.htm) for all kinds of weather links and forecasts for the local area.

Have fun!
