Hit Marina Del Rel for a quick am stomp b4 I went to the lagoon to help the kiddies for Halooween.
Got a late start as my truck has a short when the trailer is attached…..I spent from about 6 am to 7:30 trying to repair it....didn’t get to the water till about 9am…fished till about 12-12:30 then off to the goon I went.
Didn’t land any huge toads per say but I managed some quality fiash:
4 cuda
1 mack
3-4 Calicos
3 sandbass
The flats did not give me any love this day but again I was not there at the correct time of the tide….
I returned later that evening with Hiro, again unfortunately later than the tide but that trip yielded some real fat toads.
I took 2 nice SB and 1 calico for the table..
All caught on gulp alive minnows in water ranging from 8’ to 13’…the macks and cuda up near the top but roaming over the same depth scale…
I thought the zebra print pattern would bring me a toad this trip but it turned out it was a delayed reaction/result….my toad/fattie came later that evening when I went out with Hiro….the panties came along fer good luck on that trip as well….and worked !!!!!
