Southern Cal. 10/25

i started trolling rite out of the breakwall, i was trolling two rods(holding 1 and the other on straps). the rod i was holding had a big yo-zuri on it that the deck hand let me use. on the way to the rock fishin spot i had 4 bones, 3 on the troll, 1 on the iron. we baegan fishin for some huge bocs! a few quality lings, one pushin 30 pounds!! and some quality reds. i was only pullin up small rockys. then on the way in i trolled for 4 more bones and 1 more on the iron. i love the fight those bones have in em!! we got back to the dock after 4 o'clock! all the troll stops got us an extra hour! cool!!! thanks for reading.

Nice quality lings! Very cool of them to let you hit the troll and extend the trip...nice report, where are the pics!?

Hi supasportkid,

Way to go on the fishys. At least trolling keeps the whole boat busy when there is a jig-fish and the excitement builds.

30lb Lingcod a nice fish for sure.

yeah, that ling was huge, ryan the deck hand said they had a bigger ling a couple days before.

when i try to upload my pics, it sais "upload failed". i dont have pics of any lings, jus a few bones and small rockfish I cuaght.

there is only 1 half day boat a day during the week now. (winter schedule)
