Nice meeting you guys: Miguel and Leonard.

Other than Garrett's 30" 11+ lb. halibut, there isn't much else to report.
The bite completely shut off today. The winds must have blown hard to the west all night long and pushed the bait fish offshore. I didn't see a single bait fish today. The rest of the condition was fantastic and everyone in the group believed we were going to have an incredible day. What a let down. Oh, well. There is always next time.

I see your one of those butts were caught with the ima sasuke, I cant wait until mine come in to test out in the surf. I still consider catching a legal butt a successful day.

It was great meeting you and the Gang. Leonard & Joe, thanks for the assist with the bird release.

That IMA sasuke is deadly! The pattern & workmanship make it second to none. I may have to place an order for one myself soon.

That last picture looks like it was taken on the Federal Breakwall at Cabrillo Beach. If so, you should know that law enforcement has recently been cracking down on the trespassing and have been giving out tickets to everyone they catch. In the past, people were let off with a warning usually given by the harbor patrol or port police patrolling in their boats.

If it wasn't the Federal Breakwall at Cabrillo Beach, then that's good.
