Quick Lobster Run 10-9

This is my first report on this site, so bear with me.

Anyway, I got the itch bad to do some hooping after rigging up a few new eclipse nets. Hitched up the boat, grabbed some mack out of the freezer, and was on the water at 730pm. Quick run out of LB and 3 hoops were in the water by 8:15pm.

I only brought 3 eclipse nets since I was solo and didn't want to deal with too many hoops. 40ft of water, 45min soak and I was done. 4 legals in the first, 4 in the second, and 3 more in the third, with 2 rock crabs. I threw back the last 4 lobsters and was done and back at the dock at 9:30pm. Last night was one of my quickest limits.

Great report!!wow I wish I was able to go out and catch lobster like that. I have four nets but still didn't buy a kayak yet. I wonder how everyone else is doing on hooping this season.

Wow, what a night for being solo...Wish I can get limits like that..If you need a second set of hands to help you pull, let me know..I been trying but had no luck..I need a Lobster hoop netting 101..
