How are rates determined??..by MSRP??

It is good to get the insurance. It is so cheap that is just makes sense.
The premium is based upon the value of the boat and the type of policy you choose.
Call Progressive at 800 776 4737 - they are execellent in boat inusrance, (For both.. best premiums and coverage provided).

Just as an example:
I had my Triumph Center Console insured though them. The premium was $131.00 per year. :Shocked: That was a 2005 boat with plenty of coverage.

Call Sawyer and Cook, great company,there in San Bernardino. Ask for Al Grout, if you don't get him you might be talking to Gayle. They are a little more than some insurance but waaaaay better coverage on boats!
