Spent the past week fishing with the La Playita fleet out of the New Los Puertos Marina. Great weather,Quality grade Yellow Fin Tuna and lotsa laughs with close friends! Counting down the days to the Wahoo Tourney Nov. 23!!!

Ended the week Fishing The Governers Cup In San Jose de Los Cabos on sunday-Fished alongside the best capt in the FLEET-Capt.Augustin Pino aboard La Fatima...Somehow my best day of the trip was saved for the Tournament. We bested 97 other teams to win the GRAND PRIZE a BRAND NEW 23' SUPER Panga/75HP Mercury outboard!!! Needless to say,we are no longer close friends,but FAMILIA,haha! The tourney paid 3 places for wahoo,Dorado and Tuna-with cash prizes in each category-He is the proud new owner after we weighed in a 60.6# Yellow Fin Tuna
certainly NOT the largest Yellow Fin Tuna of our trip...but it was when the $$$ was on the line.

The awards ceremony was preety cool,lotsa handshakes,high fives and photos to be taken-a long night of cervezas and congratulations. Still beat froma week of putting the wood to plus size Yellow Fin Tuna and partying my *** off-

Nice fish. I'm trying to get my girlfriend to work at hooters but she isn't going for it. She is going to college to try to get a "real" job... ughhh......

Thanks Tammy! Yes, Tomas and Capt Augustin invited me to fish the tourney as a thank you for the baseball gear I brought down for the kids of La Playita(Los Puertos)
As a matter of fact I have my eye on a nice lil' plot in San Jose de los Cabos..2 min drive from the Art district/main street and 6 min drive to Los Puertos. Right on the edge of the esturary..

headed back in month for a wahoo tourney!!!!!!!!
