This was our 2nd annual trip up and our first time up around the bishop creek area. We camped at Four Jeffery off of the 168, with a choice spot near the creek. The Campgound is nice and the bear boxes are new. Lots of rainbows landed in Bishop Creek, South Lake, and Sabrina and we only kept what we ate for the weekend supper meal. We did'nt land any 23" Alpers or Big Germans(except the 3pdr lost at the net at Intake II), but the trip was awesome with the colors turning and nice weather. Here's a few pics.

Thanks. That brown I lost was some story, my bud likes to carry stuff in his net. Anyways, after hitting up south lake and Sabrina on Sunday, that old net had a good size hole on the bottom- and we all did'nt know it. It was the 2nd attempt to net the brown is when it happen, he got right under it, and the fish acutaly bent the trble hook and shook off and went right through the bottom... yea just another fish story...

That's too funny.. I'm probably in the background of a few of your photos somewhere. See anyone with a little white dog? Good reports man, and it's good to see you guys were steadily hooking up. I didn't get to Sabrina while in the canyon, but I'll be up there trolling there before the season is out

Vince the Sierra season ends Nov. 15 and its time to start thinking about trolling for the BIG BROWNS of the twin lks. at Bridgeport [ cold weather and all ] . I swore to myself that I was fishing the fall this year BUT I just can't seem to find time , so I'am living thru your reports , lol . Theres nothing like a fall Sierra trip . maybe I'll meet you guys up there next year //

Nice report and pics.

A couple days later we fished there and saw a couple real large fish jumping out in the middle of the intake.

Now you have to go back!!!

TM65,
The group hit South Lake on Sat a/m until 1030, we took home some stockers from shore. Would have loved to troll that whole lake area.

Steve,
Browns at Bridgeport sounds killer. We have been talking about that for next year, wish I can make it up there now! Good luck in NOV!
