We took spitfire to catalina for some action.
To my surprise, it was overcast and didn't see sun most of the day.
Good for fishing but not good for raising the catch count.

On the way, we caught some baby mackerels for bait.
They were like paint in the paint bucket.
You dip the sabiki, pull it up then you get the sabiki decorated with mackerels like this. ^^

And we went on to the front of catalina island.
There weren't many boils because of overcast, they were just underneath nontheless.
We pull bunch of large size bonitos. They were strong and fierce for about a couple of minutes.

Also some mixed rock fishes and boccachio and the halfmoons to fill the bag.
