Can you launch a tube into the harbor? Thinking about doing my first tube trip there. Also is there good fishing there? Anyone interested in joining, I'm pretty sure I can make it down there.

No tubing in King Harbor. The patrol will run you off the water immediately They don't mess around at KH.. Very strict about the rules there but they do allow you to fish from a Kayak or small boat. There is also a free hand launch dock set up for launcing small boats and kayaks. You might want to try Newport Bay. They do allow float tubing in NPB.
