YFT/YT at the 209 9/18/08

Left Newport at 7:30am after waiting 30 minutes at the bait barge for the party boats to scoop all the cured bait, serves me right for being late. But went on the El Nido to the 209 looking for mammals and ahi. Found a paddy at 28 miles that yeilded 9 yellows and a small Mako that was released. Then we found a pod of porpusses and they were good for 3 YFT to about 20lbs. All YFT on the sardines in front of the pods right on the 209. We lost 4 others and saw lots of other boats in the area as we left. Back to NPB by 4pm. Great day! Jbro
