Fished Catalina Island today aboard the Pursuit with Catfishbandit. I paid for half his ticket as a late birthday present. The day start out crazy. Three boats from the local landing arrived at the bait barge within minutes of each other.

What Cb took home today.
Fishing was on the tough side today. The boat went 0 and 2 on the yellows. We had lousy conditions all day long. The day started off with a lack of current, then it went to wind against current which made fishing very difficult. I manage to catch a few fish here and there, but no yellows for me today. Even though I didn't get a yellow today I still had a great time. It was a nice day to be out on the water and I meet some cool people. Jason sorry you didn't get your yellow today, but there's always tomorrow. Nice meeting you bud. Once again the crew was top notch. Thanks Gus and Chris for all your help today. Danny thanks for the special order breakfast. The captain did his best and made several moves throughout the day to locate the yellows, but it wasn't meant to be. That's fishing for you, we'll get them next time. Thanks for reading and good luck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.
