Just had a friend that got back from a VERY bad trip where there was the possibility of the crew being drunk. He so wished he had the coast guard's number on his phone to call them since they were still at the bait dock.

Hopefully I will never be in the same situation he was in but if I am I at least have the info in my blackberry now to make the call. Thought I would share the Coast Guard info if anybody is interested.

the most important thing was the captain under the influence? cause if he wasn't then nothing much you can do when it comes to the coast guard.

He and his dad both believed the entire crew was drunk.

If it was me, I would've DEMANDED to get my $$$ back or be put on a different boat. Forget about the fishing, I'm more concern about my life's at stack being put in charge by a drunk captain.

Yes that's the one. Yes his post was updated because the owner of the Q105 did contact him to make things right.

In that case, sounds like problem solved...good response from the owner!
