I have been doing Alot of Freshwater lately and a alittle bit of Salt water perching. But after reading all of the halibut reports i NEED to catch me a halibut. does anyone know of any beaches in the LA-OC regions that might have a hali or two, just looking for realy general beach names, no specifics, thanks, PF

Try drop shotting a fluke or flash trix minnow off the wedge jetty in NPH or 72nd Place jetty North of Seal Beach. Download "Google Earth (http://earth.google.com/)" and you can find these places no problem. Sometimes it can be very hard to find one, and others it's like you found a bucket full of them and they'll bite everything you throw out... Move around a lot.
