sorry guys but havent been posting my trips........same fish, dodos, yellows, and albies....but this trip....i just had to. for those that know me, you can hit me up for the locations but until the weekend tourny is over, ill let you figure it out...

Skippered my friend Chris parker 2320....a truly amazing fishing platform and my friend O. Wfo. Every single bait that hit the water resulted in quality size yellofin tuna. we fished for only half a day and had over 10 yellowfin per person.......great numbers. TRIED calling in ANY boats, giving out numbers and only 6-10 boats showed up. EVERY BOAT WAS HOOKED UP. Many called bullshit over the radio....but i will let the pictures do the talking. Very very local fishing. unbelievable. We filled up all the fish boxes and had no more room to keep fish and we knew we had more than our fill. At this point we started releasing tuna. Lost count of how many, but we easily could have had limits. But why keep more than you can really handle? Like i said, there was plenty of fish to be had and tried hailing anyone who wanted to be on a wide open bite. Helped a father and son fishing together get onto their first yellowfin....amazing feeling. NO TROLL FISH. all on bait. after we ran out of bait, we counted 18 yft from 20-to maybbbeee 40 but who knows...with even more released.

First stop we have a triple going.....tried to get greedy and get a quad with 3 guys. So i took my Trinidad DC with the tuna on and put it in the rod holder. Grab the other trinidad dc and casted it out with a dine......then i realized my other fish was about to get tangled with the other two. so i set my rod on the rail, took my other rod out of the rod holder and right then the fish darted and off goes my Trinidad 16 DC into the ocean, and without thinking i jump right in and catch up to it......GOT IT! swim back to the boat, hand the rod to my buddy while hes still hooked up......get on the boat, "hey guys wheres my other trini dc?" oh ****.......that went in the water too . should have never left it on the rail, with bait in teh water....idiot. I look in the water nervously and see a green spectra line about 10 feet under.......i jump back in the water again, 15 minutes and 300 yards later....up from the deep comes back my 1000 dollar set up....the fish gods must have been looking down on me today..

dude, one fish at a time. i can't believe the fish gods let you get both of those rigs back from the depths. thank god it was summertime. Daimon's is the ish. couple of people i know have pulled some shifts in there. that's cool you called in the other boats to share in the spoils. that's probably why you got those rigs back. could have been a story of victory and defeat. awesome pics, drooling. i will go back to discussing when DVL will fill back up now.

First of all THANK YOU CHRIS for letting me kill some ahi on your parker! I love that pilothouse. What a fishing platform. Deck space galore. With the 200hp Yamaha 4 stroke purring whisper quiet it was easy "running and gunning" with the Big Tuna. Insane day,I learned so much today.

Billy,Billy,Billy...you woke me up and tell me we're going to get some Yellow Fin Tuna...I get up and am out the door in 20 mins flat,I even beat you to the launch ramp! I'm so freaking sore. It was a blast getting MY BUTT HANDED TO ME ON A 711H 20-40# GUSA...I havent felt this way since I played college ball, haha!

We absolutly killed it. We fished the YFT for 4.5hrs and left them biting...ran outta bait and headed back to the barn doing 28k...Damn that parker pilothouse gives me a chubby.

Epic day and daimons is the best! danny is making me fat!

It's fun getting worked over by some nice sized tuna like those.

Thanks for the report/pics.

Awesome report! Getting your rods back is very impressive. I don't know too many people who would instinctively dive in for their gear.

Very nice grade of fish, perfect eating size. How did you like the Parker? I hear it is a very stable platform and some even like it more than a Boston Whaler.

The pics of the sushi plates if making me drool! I can't remember that last time I had freshly caught tuna or yellowtail. I just might have to hop on a cattle trip just for the table fare.

People that have fished with me have seen me dive in on several occasions and not just for my gear but for anyone on that i fish with. I hate to see a person lose such a prize possesion and all you have to do is get a little wet to get it back and all is good.

That was the first time i fished on a parker pilothouse and i was VERY impressed. i fished alot of private boats, but most impressed with this boat....wouldnt be surprised if i bought one...soon...after i sell my cabo 216 that is .

LOL.....

It's never a dull moment with you on board. First, gaff to the leg....then felled off the boat while fighting a shark, now diving for not one but two pricey outfits.

LOL....

Glad to see you got them both back. Epic day. Love the slick shot.....
