Belmont Pier round 2 8/31, 4 Hali's & 1 YFC

Hit up Belmont again since the parents wanted to fish. Got there around 10:30. I set up the usual d/s with a 3 inch minnow. 2nd casts nails in a small Hali. Fished the same area for a tiny YFC that swallows the berkley gulp.

At this point my little brother hooks in a bird lol, the bird dove for his berkley minnow and then got tangled, had to cut the line. Poor bird couldn't fly later on. I had no number for the animal control to help it out, but it drifted to shore and I saw a life guard pick it up. so hopefully it made it!

3rd fish was another Hali biggest of the day, I would estimate it around 14". Fought like a bigger one though. I then went to see where my dad was fishing, and casted next to him and hooked a small hali 5 seconds later!!! He was probably thinking WTF!

4th hali was tiny, no need to talk about. anyways total score for me was 5 fish, my lil brother and both parents combined was a big ZERO!!! and as usual... all fish were C & R

Should have put that Queen Fish on the hook of a bigger setup and you might have had a chance at a very nice Flattie!!!!!
