Sweet!

How about more info like were they all caught on bait, troll? I know you don't want to give locations but a little info would help out others on this report. ;-)

Guys,

These were all bait fish, sardines fished on 20 to 40lb line. These were mostly porpoise fish, find the porpoise and the tern birds, get in front of the porpoise, shut the motor down throw out a bait. Don't start up the engine until the porpoise are 1/4 mile past you.

You can find these yft from the east end of Catalina to the Mexican border, you have to make sure you're ready to burn lots of gas!

They're still out there fellas. We landed 10 and lost 8-9. Same pattern. Working porpoise, shut down in front of them, throw some bait, chum and wait for a hook up. Get 'em early, once the boat pressure is on the porpoise gets really spooky. Two of us were leap frogging eachother for hook ups. Once a third and fourth joined, they we really leery of the boat and would change directions. Once the Liberty joined up and chummed them up they really got locked jaw for us.
