Jumped ion the Aztec out of Seaforth landing. It was nice to pull in to the half-empty parking lot and park for free!

The fishing was very scattered and slow. Of the 28 passengers on board, 14 were skunked. The day consisted of a few jig strikes in the early morning for small albacore and dorado to the all dreaded 5 hour troll for nothing to the end of the day quick stop for 4 quality yft.

I was lucky enough to catch a quality yft and yt, a small albacore, and a small dorado. Yes- the grand slam.......

Thanks man,

It is a mysterious ocean right now. Pretty strange summer down here. Your reports indicate that it is also that way in your water.. Weird

Oh-one more thing about Seaforth's free parking. When I got back to my truck the next night I noticed that my fuel gauge was almost empty when it should have been 3/4 full. So I pull into the nearest gas station near Sea World and find out my gas cap is missing and my gas flap is open. Guess someone siphoned out 15 gallons while I was fishing. So doing the math; the parking cost $60. Knew it was too good to be true!

woah... that sucks big time. i hope you reported it to the landing to notify them of what's going on there. seaforth should offer some sort of security for their paying customers...ie anglers whom spend lots of money @ that landing. time to invest in a gas cap that locks
coach... sorry to hear about your misfortune bruddah.
