good day/evening
this day i re-visited the bay with my friend mark, hes the one that got me swimbaiting more, and so far so good. ill keep this short as not everyone has the spottie passion, and fish start looking alike. today wasnt easy, but when i look back i realize, we caught alot of fish.

the morning looked like this overcast and grey, i wasnt complaining, had all day to be in the sun.
of course mark was the first on a fish, i had a bite prior but chumped out and missed the chance. his first was a spottie, but this calico looked cooler for an opener.

this is my first fish of they day, super small but he decided to pose and that got him into the post.

after a stretching warmup on the rods we got down to bizness', the tide was on an upswing about 4-5 feet movement, we started late for reasons not our fault, so had about 4 hours until it turned. fish were still caught at peak and receeding tide, we fished from 9 to 2:30, all caught on swimbaits. primarily big hammer's on 1/4 oz., and i tried out a new gulp product for me, not done testing it, but i was surprised at the results. heres a few thruought the day.

i dig the greyness of the fins on this guy, again i had yellowish tinted fish as well as the real white and grey ones. if anyone is certain as to the meaning behind there color changes, please let me know.

this fish almost swallowed my entire swimbait, as gentle as i was taking the hook out, i was still jacking him up, mark caught 3 fish as i revived him back t swimming status, hope he made it.
mark ended the day with this nice fish,

weather was fantastic the bite was earned yet for the taking, and i had a great time. other bi-product fish caught were sandies, and undersized halibut. soon i shall be back on the rocks, again antagonizing the spotted bay bass, so until then ciao'
