Went up there for a one day fishing run as part of a group of 7...Fished the sand traps, Goodale Creek, and Owen's River...All of us got our limits...Though obviously we were just hitting stockers, DFG puts in some good size fish there...And of course they tasted great!...We left from a friend's house at 3:15 am...Fished from 6:00-noon....and made got home around 5....Would have loved to have stayed up there but had to work today...oh well.
As for pics, I'm waiting on a friend to send me them....one stringer with 35 'bows looks pretty cool!

Some of those small creeks coming down the hills are fun. Real small, but fun.

You live in Valencia ... left home at 3:15 and were fishing by 6:00 ...
What kind of plane do you fly?

Lower owens is awesome.. but damn it gets hot down there this time of year. That's best in the winter...but you might still have good action early
