Went fishing with my friend in Huntington Harbor on Tuesaday night, and ended up catching 2 very large guitar fish. The first one was 47 inches long and weighed 14 lb. The second was 52 inches long and weighed 19 lb. The second had a massive head and judging by the size of him, my friend and I thought he was going to be over 25 lb, however the scale indicated otherwise. They both put up a good fight and both were safely released.

Frozen squid. Fresh squid (you can buy it at asian markets) works even better.

Way to go on the nice shovels!

i caught a 15lb sngf on 10lb test once...their drag screaming runs are awesome and at the same time, very nerve wrecking!....especially if you foul hook them with a lure. It appears to be smaller than yours...perhaps you should get your scale calibrated?
