Left Dana at about 6:15 on the way to the 14 mile bank, got there to find no paddies and and bunch of boats. Found some porpise there, but they were on the move and not holding. Decided to make a run and look at some different water. Stopped just outside of the 14 and found a paddy loaded with Dodos. Was wide open when we first got there and we boated 4-5 right away, then drifted by it all day picking up 1 or 2 every drift. Heard they were line shy, but these weren't. Tossed most of them back as they were pretty small. Biggest probably about 8 pounds. They're still here, go get um!

Didn't see any tuna....one guy on radio said he pulled one off a paddy on the 267...radio fish....if you look at the most recent temp map, we were roughly in the warm band that runs through the avalon bank.....water was 72ish and deep puple...

Great job man......its amazing how fast dorado grow and how short their life spans are...thats why i wonder why people bash for keeping small ones, they dont live very long....thanks for the report......

When I went out for tuna some years ago now , we hooked up on tuna in that same color of water , deep purple. :Secret:

Congrats on your Dorado. Thanks for your report
