Robert, you really should rinse off your gear when you are done.

Looks like you have a pretty good setup.. I would check into getting a Panther Martin Gold Spinner.. Black Body with yellow spots.. Killer for trout.
I have that Abu Garcia Reel but the 100U, the one on the Ugly Stick, pretty cool.

Here is the Panther Martin.

Robert, try to use a lure that matches the color of the water and aquatic growth where you are fishing.

Looks like you're ready to attack every lake & stream in the Mammoth area young Robert. :Big Grin:
You got a loop in the abu spool on the Ugly Stik.
Have fun!

Robert , You seem to have everything ready to catch some trout. Nice choice on the Ugly Stik lite . Good luck and I look forward to read your report

Your rubber inflatiable reminds me of the one I used to paddle up at lake pyramid many, many moons ago. I finally had to lay it to rest when I tore a huge hole in it, and got stranding out in a cove - until the lake closed and the harbor patrol found me - as bright as a red tomato from being in the sun all day.... Be sure to bring your patch kit!
