Returned back for day "2" in succession at the harbor to visit "2" of my family, the Wife and Brad as they have been staying on Balboa Island since Sat with another Mom with "2" Kids and "2" other friends.
After yesterdays boating trip I woke up "2" hours late and was off for a trip that took "2" hours instead of the normal 1 and 15.
Spent "2" hours with the wife and the other mother waiting for the boys to wake up after sneaking out to play after the moms went to sleep and were out until "2" am. The wife and I took off toward the lunch spot on foot while Brad rode the bike to get and hold a table at the Grill. Walked back to the house with the wife after lunch and she gave the blessing to me to go get some time on the water.
She went with me to the first of "2" spots and watched and took photos and collected sea shells as I made cast from the inner beach and fished the cover for nothing. I walked her back to the house and then went to a local public dock and tried the action.
I was working "2" poles as usual and the bite was on almost immediately. the bad part is that as I was working to get a rig baited the other would go off and I missed several nice bites.
Fished for "2" hours.
Fish Count:
2 Flatties
2 YFC
2 Sandies
2 Spotties
Returned to the house to call it a day and say goodbye to the wife and had the "2" hour drive home without "2" persons to be able to use the HOV lane.
Maybe just a coincidence but after looking at the photos there were "2"s in the time of the photos also and the last "2" were caught "2" minutes apart.

All today were cut on cut baits. Plastics zero a reversal of yesterday!!!!!
