Husband and I spent the afternoon out fishing the jetty at Del Mar Beach on Camp Pendleton and what a GREAT DAY it was! I myself added a few new fish to my list of fish caught :) and happy I was! Im new to this type of fishing and I LOVE IT! its always something different your realin up. Today we ended up catching 5 different fish all in a few hrs. And the 2 pics of what we could use a little help with the types. The one we got and the other we were able to snap a pic before it snaped the line. Its kind of a fuzzy pic. Along with the pic we caught bat rays, guitars, yellowfin croaker, a leopard shark and the one pictured. Hated to leave! Looking forward to fishing out there tomorrow!! Bait used was anchovies and squid. Will work on resizing the other pics and post them later as im new to this and takes a lil time:) All in All was A GREAT DAY OF FISHING WITH THE HUBBY !!!

Nice fish! :Thumbs Up:

That other fish is definetly a juvenile white sea bass. Easily identifyable by its bold, vertical stripes. A exotic fish for sure.

Looks like a good day of fishing. Is your husband on active duty? That is a great place to fish.
