Took the refurbished skiff out to LB today for some fishing with the GF. We fished along the south end of the wall. Using D/S rigs with 4lb. line, had a fun day picking at an assortment of perch and nice little calicos. I also caught a senorita looking fish (a little help with the I.D. would be cool). Big surprise of the day was a school of nice bonies that ran right into us, I hooked one on 4lb and sadly broke it off after a short battle. My GF did better with the 40lb braid and a crank bait. Afterwards we went inside Huntington Harbor and fished hard for nothing. All in all a good day for a boat that hasnt seen the ocean in about 10 years.:Smile:

That is a nice looking fish...is it a "senorita"?
WATERPOLO? I cant image wading in the water for 3 hours. Those guys are in incredible shape.
I think I went lobster fishing off those rocks. They were blue, with no claws...
That looks like a rock wrasse... same family of fish as a senorita (wrasses).

Good job and nice fish. Looks like fun! I need to get out into the salt in a boat soon.
