8/3/08 Prowler three species

[Bucket bay]

Went out on the Prowler over night and saw hakaveli and his Friend Chris on the same Boat. Fishing started out slow one kelp one fish or two ontill later in the day when we hit a kelp that was half the size of the boat it went wide open on Dorado, Blue fin tuna and yellowtail, lines were crossing breaking all heal broke lose.it was a lot of fun.

I got 3 Dorado
1 yellowtail
1 Blue fin tuna

Thanks guys , here is some observation I made, you will need a good live bait casting rod to get right on top of the paddy before anyone can cast there, as soon as your bait hit the water hang on and you will shorely get hit do the five count and flip your real in gear and start winding, another reason to cast your bait out is because when those bait fish see those predators they will run back to the boat if the boat is close enough for them to swim back to, if you anal hook them they will almost always swim away and down where the tuna were hanging a little deeper also adding a ½ ounce sliding sinker and nose hooking will let you get out a little further and keep the bait in the strike zone a little longer everyone that got good numbers were using 25 lb and 30lb fluorocarbon leader .
