Sad....fyi guys for those of you who dont know, if you are EVER snagged in kelp, whether its a patty or at the islands, hold your rod tip DOWN while pulling, NEVER up....that mono is like a slingshot, one of my regulars when i worked on boats got knocked out from a guy snagged in a patty with a 1/2 oz weight, he insisted on pulling with his rod tip UP, wouldnt listen to us, it ripped out of the kelp, and came flying back like at 100 mph, hit him in the head, and down he went......so BE CAREFUL!!!
