The DFG lakes carry a list of lakes that have been infected by the mussel.. We just had to sign a paper stating that we had been out of the water for over a week and also that the boat is clean and dry. The DFG officer then inspects the boat.

It all depends on what lakes you fish.. You should be ok if you take trips to the lakes that arent "infected". Should be be able to go back and forth easily. I dont think they asked for any paperwork like that.. but really it all depends on the lake and the DFG rules at that particular place.
