Hey I was wondering are there fresh fish markets that sell fresh tuna. I am in the oc but would be willing to SD/LA to get some good tuna. Thanks in advance

Point Loma Seafood, and the one itty bitty market by Seaforth (name escapes me right now), as well as the original portugese one that is downtown. You can also call any of the commercial processors (the guys one street down from the big cattleboat landing here in SD.

These guys sell some amazing sport/commercial West Coast caught fish.....stuff you never ever see in the regular market (ex. wahoo, cabrillo, grouper etc...)

There is Santa Monica Seafood, in Costa Mesa, 17th st, 1 block east of Newport Blvd. Consistent high quality fish. They also sell to the local restaurants. In Irvine, try 99 Ranch.

i don't know the name of the place but there is a floating shack next to the launch center of www.southwindkayaks.com under the PCH bridge. He's a commercial fisherman and sells that mornings catch. I've seen all kinds of stuff there from WSB, tuna and lobster.
