Hit up the Harbor and went offshore to the Pipes and CDM Boilers and kelp for a very slow day. Launched around 0630 for a quick bite on some smaller varieties.
Eddie (HESBROS) joined me around 1100 and we headed out to the Pipes for some slow action than some open sea time for me on the boat!!! I managed to get a nice bite and got taken into his little hiding hole.
We were on the way out of the Harbor when the Quake hit but had it not been for Eddies wife Texting us we would not of known it had happened.
Returned to my favorite harbor and worked the channel going in for very little other than a Smaller Calico and Sandie. Moved to a more familiar location to get about a 18" Flattie that jumped off at the boat before a photo opportunity. a Spottie and Eddie had about 15" Cuda attack his swim bait at the surface and said goodbye.
We tried a few other spots for nothing and decided to call it a day.
I hate days in the harbor with Huge tidal movements!!!!!!!!!
