I have an Old town Osprey like this one.
http://www.kayaksandpaddles.co.uk/canoe/kayak/uk/shop/productpages/canoes/canoes-images/old-town-canoes-osprey-camo.jpg

It's been dragged up onto rocky beaches, dropped down a flight of stairs (twice), driven through the trees (while on my truck of course.)
Pretty much everything you're not suppose to do to a canoe. No real damage to the Royalex just a lot of hairline scratches in the bottom.
It looked fine when I put it away three or four months ago.....
Well...The tarp must have blown off or has been eaten by an animal.
The canoe has been baking in the hot sun for who knows how long. :(
Now the Camo decal is peeling at the hairline scratches and the whole bottom is brown.

Anyone have an idea what I can do?
I don't really care about the color but I don't want the decal to peel anymore.
Is there a sealant I should use?

Thanks for your help.

Its hard to beat Man o' War Marine Varnish, if its a wood canoe......you can find it at The Home Depot

I think It would work on plastic as well, but i'm not sure

Thanks for the reply C&R Bassin,
I talked to a guy at Old town, he told me any automotive acrylic would work.
Now I just have to find camo colors.
I think I saw some a Bass Pro.
