Since the sandbass fishing has been really slow lately the captain decided to fish sculpin on tonight's twilight trip. I was glad when I found out, because I haven't fished sculpin for a while. Plus sculpin in my opinion tastes ten times better than any sandbass. We left the dock at 6:30pm and arrived at the fishing grounds within an hour. Once we arrived the fish were biting.

Nice day to be out on the water.

I caught about 20 of these and keep the 5 biggest. I love the colors on these things.

These 2 guys were catching them right and left towards the end of the night.

Sorry didn't get your name, but congrats on the jackpot sculpin.
Overall it was a fun trip. I would like to thank the crew aboard the Monte Carlo for all their hard work. It was a fun trip and I'll be back soon.
Crew: Captain Jacob, deckhand Mannin, and in the galley was Tommy.
What I caught: 20 plus scuplin, largest was a little over a lb.
Bait: Cut squid on a two hook ganion with a 6 ounce sinker. I replace the 2 hooks with 2 1/2 ounce leadheads. This is a killer method for catching scuplin.
Thanks for reading and good luck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.
