Hey all,
We spent a week at a cabin at the christian conference grounds and were able to fish the Kings River, Bubbs Creek, Ten Mile Creek, and Hume.... Here is the trip...
10 casts or so of a rooster tail into the Kings River since we had about 20 minutes to wait for Boydens Cavern tour...

I was able to hook into a nice Brown in that time.. safely CPR'd

I was really happy (as you can tell in the picture)

That was the only river/creek fish caught all week.
Then at the bouy line at Sandy Cove Beach area at Hume the fishing was wide open... on stockers... with power bait! Orange was the color of choice and since I had four kids and myself (2 children and 2 nephews) I had to buy one more bottle of orange Power Bait.
Anyway... In about 8 hours of fishing 6 of those by myself early in the morning when the kids were asleep, We caught over 30 trout! The small one was 10"... the biggest was 15 1/2". At one point all 5 of us were fishing and 3 of the kids all caught one at the same time, they were all swimming around each other tangling the lines, kids complaining that the other one stole their fish... The youngest pulling his in beacuse since everyone else had one he should too and then crying that he wanted more power bait RIGHT NOW! whew... a great time had by all. They went swimming about 30 seconds after the fiasco of a triple hookup.
I decided that I wanted to catch 2 fish at once so I used a double leader and caught 2 13" trout at once... very fun on an ultralight pole.

The second days catch (16 fish in about 1.5 hours)
I don't have any pictures of the early morning fishing because I was on my bicycle and was trying to lighten the load.
