Hello, Im Eddie and live in Sun Valley off of Glenoaks on the 5fwy. I'm an amateur. I have fished off pier, off boats and some lakes off and on. I would go maybe 1-2 times a year. This year i have decided to start to fish more often as it is fun as well as a stress reliever and if im lucky i get to bring food home. So i have started buying several hooks, lures, bobbers, weights and just trying to get my tackle bag filled. I Went to Bishop and fished a few lakes there and caught some Trout and first time eating it. I have to say it was very good. I really dont know how to set up my rod for what im fishing and thats why im here to try to learn all i can from you experienced people and just gain more knowledge to have more luck while fishing. I will be going tomorrow to Castaic and hope i can bring something home to cook.

I have also subscribed to fishing facts to learn from it as well.

Thanks for the welcome and luck. If i have any luck i may keep a couple for some fillets and fish tacos. Im not sure how busy it gets up in Castaic during the weekend.
