NPH skunk thanks to dog

launched the yak out of the harbor patrol since I installed the new finder. 5 minutes out it starts beeping. Throw a couple of casts and 3rd or 4th cast I feel a nibble. Wait a second then MAJOR bendo, I thought WOW it's big. But as soon as it went bendo and I went to set the hook it broke off. NUTS!!! A second later a sea lion pops up with a spottie in it's mouth with which I'm sure was MY fish. Nothing else the next 2 hours but a lot of T&A and dogs everywhere. I swear they were following me. It was choppy and windy out.

a rogue male sea lion almost sank my paddle boat a few years ago when it decided to jump off a platform and surface right next to me :Neutral:

as far as the sea lion's concerned, it's HIS fish. You just happen to make it easier for him to catch it. ;)

that sux man and theres nothing you can really do to them , but then again its their house that were fishing in.
