Decided to try a new boat today in order to get my salt gear dusted off since its been sitting in the garage for about a year. Anyways, it was a good choice. The Enterprise is now the cheapest 3/4 day boat in the LA area and seems to run almost every day. 29 fisherman caught 23 sandbass, 16 barracuda, and 150ish calico not to mention about a gazillion short calicos. I myself got 2 large sandbass and 2 large calicos, all 4 about 2 pounds. I also managed about 40 short calicos. The morning patrol for garr and grumpies was pretty slow, but the last 3 hour on the shoe was wfo. at one point i was 20 fish in 20 casts. Grade of bass was either short, barely keeper, or large...not too many mediocre sized fish. jackpot went to a decently large barry which barely beat out a 5-6 lb calico.
