While I was camping at two harbors in catalina i decided to fish on the pier with the gas pumps and it turned out to be a great choice. With all the clear water i could see all the sheephead, calicos, BIG mackeral, whitefish, and opaleye swimmin around down there. So I started fishing and ended up with two tiny sculpin, one whitefish, 4 legal calicos and a countless number of shorts, about 15 huge mackeral, and one 2-3lb female sheephead. Some guy on. one of the floats that said "ABSOLUTELY NO FISHING" caught a 23 inch hali. It was an awesome trip.
