new species and a few shorts 6-30

Hit the salt again today solo.
Found my first Sargo? willing to play with some frozen old ghost shrimp. No luck for hali's at the reserve by 6am so off to BCSB.

Picked up 5 shorts (largest 21") and farmed the legal again when it flung the LC in my face at my feet. Got to fight it for a few minutes again though. Having problems getting them to stick lately I guess. Maybe time for new hooks. Looks like BCSB is getting a bit popular. Might revert to my other spot next time ;)

It looks like you had a nice day down at the ol'spot today. It's been a while since we had a good sargo bite. I sure hope they decide to come back. There must have been very little fog this morning--I wonder if that affected the bite at all?:rolleyes:

Drove by the area on Tuesday en route to NPH and was tempted to stop until I saw how many folks were on the rocks there.
