Red Drum

I took my 15ft aluminum Duroboat “Red Drum” out for an evening Bass trip with Jason “jscrib”. The sea conditions were kind of lumpy for the small boat but fortunately we brought our rain slickers. We would’ve been drenched without the slickers. We knew it was going to be a fun evening when we both got ripped on the drop, on our first casts of the evening. The Bass were on a major chew with about a 5 to 1 ratio of Calicos to Sandies. All fish were caught on VS jig heads and Basstrix and Big Hammer swim baits, and all 30+ fish were released to fight another day. On another positive note, I only burned 2 gallons of gas...sweeeet!!
Here is Jason with his first cast Calicock.
