My buddy and i hit SD bay from 0600-1300 for about 40 sand,calico and spotted bay bass. fishing was slow with the exception of the calico bite of mostly 11.75" fish 20 in one hour on gulp shrimp and squid heads ended up with 8 fish for tacos. most fish in 35 feet of water on channel edges or at bait barge. at least we all caught the bass trifecta. wind was pretty bad even with a drift sock. 1/2 OZ Cotee heads,3" gulp shrimp(nuclear chicken) 4lb line . my buddy rob hot stick 25 fish me only 15- later woody
