Despite dumping the Toad Halibut and getting the skunk at Castaic and Pyramid I hit the local lake and ended up with about 20 bass for the week with 4 in the 5-6lb range. Took a couple snaps some fish. No super toads but some nice ones.

My buddy mike just started fishing a bass a few months ago and here is a nice fish he caught about 3 weeks prior.

"Toad fish do not have to be held out close to the camera to make them look big" "If your hand that is lipping the bass is almost the size of your head its too close to the camra."

Wow, your buddy Mike got a nice one there.
I wasn't aware they had bass in the fountain at the Disney Concert Hall?

Not sure if this a good idea but I guess it would be ok to share our sport. Here's the original photo of mike down below.

Yeah Jonathan, for sure.. I'm thinking it might be about 10 years to earn that name, but that's the goal. I am a humble rookie who wants to learn anything and everything from you guys, WITHOUT devulging any of this type of info to anyone...
BTW, does anyone have any suggestions on what will work in Cabo if I do any shore fishing??
