Red Drum

Had a trip planned on 5/16 to fish aboard the famous “Mirage out of Port Hueneme, with Jason “jscrib and Dave “night8hawk; however, when we got up to the landing, we were informed that too many other anglers had cancelled, so the landing was forced to cancel the trip. Arrrgh!! We were upset, but what can you do…..oh I know……take the “Big Drum out the next morning and whack a bunch of Bass and other critters.
On the way up to the Port Hueneme, Jason and I caught a bunch of Barred Surf Perch at various beaches, from Malibu to Point Mugu.
Here is Jason with a Corbina.

We caught a bunch of other critters and kept fishing until 10:30pm. It was a long day of fishing but we had a blast. Good Times!
Till next tide,
