Ok, so............

Gator1 and I set off aroud 9am Thursday morning. He was VERY accommodating on the way up and let me have two cigarette stops (albeit in the guise of pee stops ;) ). We got up to Bishop Creek Lodge around 2.30 pm and figured we deserved a drink after all that driving ;) Saw Sansou pull up, so we hung out with him for 10 minutes.

Bear in mind, Gator has been going up there 30 years now, so he knows all the staff at Bishop Creek Lodge and is a good bud of Jared and the long time staff there.

We headed up to Parchers after quenching our thirst, and bumped into Dana and Donna. We were also informed that we would be in a different cabin for Sunday night - Dana's cabin!

We unpacked and headed to South Lake and did a spot of fishing by the boat dock, saw Koshaw and his friend Theron there. Gator caught 3 and released 2, he lost the other one after it was flopping around on shore for a while. Fortunately, the trout swam away happy as larry that he could go for another day!

Thursday night, Gator and I hit up "party central", I think it was Sansou's cabin but I do recall seeing SoCalGuy and SoCalGirl around. I may have been a little intoxicated that night ;)
I went to the pancake breakfast Friday morning with the hangover from hell, much to the amusement of anyone who saw me! I don't weather hangovers well.............the pancakes were great though, and I actually managed to eat some. Considering I don't do breakfast even when I haven't had a beer or few, I did good!

Friday we hit up Lake Sabrina in a boat. Went to smoke a cigarette and realised I'd forgotten them. After hitting up a bunch of fish, 4 hours later I dragged Gators butt back to the boat dock so I could grab my cigs! I was turning into the biatch from hell so he readily agreed :D
The spaghetti dinner Friday was great, and then Tammy, Mike, Chris and I headed down the hill to the Casino. That's all I'm saying about that. <ouch> ;)

Saturday, I took the dog out (Harley, Gator's daughers dog) for her morning run/walk. I can't remember which one of you it was I bumped into as I was muttering something about it not being my dog and not my job. Whoever it was said I have a cute dog. i responded with "it's not my dog". To which I was asked "oh, is it your dad's dog?". Cracked me up, and we were still laughing about it tonight telling friends that story!

Saturday night we had the prime rib at Bishop Creek Lodge.................holy mackerel! It was HUGE! But gooooooooood. Derek at the Lodge was his usual sweetheart self.

Sunday. Oh my god. Sunday was awesome. We hit up South Lake on a boat. I remembered my cigarettes, but forgot my lighter. Fortunately, a party pontoon came by and had a spare lighter (thank you guys!!!!)
Gator was going bendo left right and center, and I had a standard stocker on the stringer. We decided to troll..................

About 10 minutes after starting trolling, we met another guy in a boat. He asked how we were doing, so showed him our string of 3 fish. Suddenly, BAM!!!!! My pole goes "badoyng!!!!!!"
I grab the pole, and think I'm actually stuck on rocks..........and then the fish jumped. I finally got it in the boat.......a beautiful 4lb hookjaw Alper. We were both stoked about it, and our fellow fisherman in the other boat was like "holy crap!"
Gator and I (well, actually, me) was the talk of Parchers and Bishop Creek Lodge that night :D Gary at the Lodge took a picture (I need to scan it, k~!) and the fish looks like it's 17lbs!

Gator and I then got absolutely trashed last night by the campfire. He fell in the bushes, I fell a few times. It was rather funny.

It was my first trip with Team57 and my first vacation with Gator. It's a trip I will never forget.
